After Sri Lanka.....
Coming home has been much harder than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it's great to see Laraine as I missed her so much and I’m looking forward to seeing my family and friends but coming back here where everything is so comfortable is very difficult after seeing people who have next to nothing.
I'm now back at work, sat in the rat race that is London where I have been for the past few years and I cant stop thinking about all the amazing things we did over the last 2 weeks on Sri Lanka. The songs we sang keep going through my mind, the people we met, the things we saw and the fun we had.
I can’t help thinking that God has something more than my job in London planned for me... I’m now very eager for him to reveal what that might be!
I also seem to not be able to go on a VCS Mission Trip without coming home with a parasite. I went to the docs yesterday and he thinks I’ve got yet another one and has given me some anti-biotics to hopefully combat it. Prayers would be appreciated as my tummy feels like someone has punched me most of the time.
Can’t wait to get to VCS on Sunday and see everyone and relive some of the amazing things that we've done. Thanks again to everyone at VCS who has supported us. Without you the trip wouldn't have been anywhere near as impacting as it was.
